b) Fuse Replacement
If it becomes necessary to replace a fuse, make sure that only fuses of the prescribed type and nominal current are
used (see "Technical Data").
Never repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• Unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket.
• Use a suitable screwdriver to carefully turn out the fuse holder FUSE (8) with the defective fuse.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a new fuse of the indicated type.
• Carefully screw the fuse holder with the new fuse back into the device FUSE (8).
• After this, you can reconnect the device to the mains and take it into operation.

13. Handling

• Never connect the mains plug to a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room temperature
before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
• Never pull the mains plug from the mains socket by the cable. Only pull it from the mains socket by the intended
grip areas.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you are not using the device for an extended period of time.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket during thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Never put any filter foils, masks or other materials over the light exit. This may cause heat damage and danger of
fire.
• The device may heat up during operation. Never touch the casing during operation. Let the effect light cool off after
operation before touching or cleaning the casing.
• Do not cover the device to ensure sufficient ventilation. Air circulation and the movement of the projection mirror
must not be impaired by objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains, etc. During operation, keep a minimum
distance of 0.5 m around the device.
• The device is not suitable for continuous operation. Consistent compliance with operating breaks increases the
operational life span of the device. Let the device cool off for an extended period before taking it into operation
again.
