IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions. Every user should read this manual.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse motor
housing in water or other liquid or operate in wet areas.
3. When grinder is powered, place hands only on recommended
surfaces. Finger, hand or body contact with the moving parts can
result in serious injury.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.
5. Unplug power cord from outlet when not in use, before putting
on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
6. Avoid contacting moving parts. Never feed food by hand. Always
use completely assembled grinder with hopper and food pusher.
7. Never put your fingers near the feed tube while grinder
is operating.
8. Keep loose clothing, hair and kitchen utensils away from moving
parts to reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to
the grinder.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return grinder if damaged to the nearest authorized
service facility or to The Legacy Companies for examination,
repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
