SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
w WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard. Before assembling or
disassembling the Vacuum Sealer, make sure the Vacuum Sealer is OFF ( )
and the plug is removed from the outlet/power source.
w CAUTION Burn Hazard. The Seal Bar and Vacuum Chamber Seal get hot
and can cause burns. Avoid contact. Allow Vacuum Sealer to cool for 20 minutes
before servicing.
REMOVING THE OVAL VACUUM CHAMBER SEALS OR THE SEAL BAR
TAPE:
1. Turn "OFF" ( ) the Vacuum Sealer and unplug from the electrical outlet.
2. Make sure the unit is completely cool.
3. Open the Vacuum Lid.
4. Pull up the Oval Vacuum Chamber Seal from the groove on the underside
of the Vacuum Lid and in the plastic Vacuum Chamber.
OR
4. Lift and pull the 15 MM Seal Bar Tape covering the Seal Bar Heating
Element. The Vacuum Lid Seal and 10 MM Seal Bar Tape should not
have to be replaced often.
REPLACING THE OVAL VACUUM CHAMBER SEALS:
1. Open lid. Pull out the top oval vacuum chamber seal to remove. Repeat to
remove the lower oval vacuum chamber seal.
2. Place and press the new seal into the groove of the plastic Vacuum
Chamber.
3. Repeat Step 1 for the Vacuum Lid.
REPLACING THE LOWER 15 MM SEAL BAR TAPE:
1. Remove the backing from the new 15 MM Seal Bar Tape. Do not allow
the tape to contact anything while the adhesive is exposed.
2. Place one end of the Seal Bar Tape on the flat area to the left side of the
Seal Bar Heating Element. Slide and press your finger from the left to the
right to cover the heating element and the flat areas to each side. Make
sure there are no wrinkles or folds in the Seal Bar Tape.
REPLACING THE UPPER 10 MM SEAL BAR TAPE (shorter tape):
1. Remove the backing from the new 10 MM Seal Bar Tape. Do not allow
the tape to contact anything while the adhesive is exposed.
2. Place the tape on the left side of the Seal. Slide and press your finger to
the right. Make sure there are no wrinkles or folds in the Seal Bar Tape.
