Memory status — to view the free memory and the used memory for each function in the list.
Automatic keyguard — to set the keys to lock automatically. Choose On and the time-out to
activate the keyguard or Off to set the automatic keyguard off.
Security keyguard — to set the phone to ask for the security code when you unlock the keyguard.
Enter the security code, and select On. When the keyguard is on, calls still may be possible to
the official emergency number programmed into your device.
Voice recognition — See "Voice commands," p. 39.
Flight query — to set the phone to ask if flight mode should be used each time the phone is
turned on. In flight mode, all radio connections are turned off. Flight mode should be used in
areas sensitive to radio emissions.
Welcome note — to create the welcome note you would like to be shown briefly when the
phone is turned on.
Phone updates — to receive software updates from your service provider (network service). This
option may not be available, depending on your phone. See "Phone software updates," p. 41.
Operator selection > Automatic — to set a cellular network available in your area
Confirm SIM actions — See "SIM services," p. 58.
Help text activation — to select whether the phone shows help texts
Start-up tone — to let the phone play a tone when it is switched on

Voice commands

Call contacts and carry out phone functions by speaking a voice command.
Voice commands are language-dependent. Select Menu > Settings > Phone > Language
settings > Recognition lang. and your language before using voice commands.
To train the voice recognition of your phone to your voice, select Menu > Settings > Phone >
Voice recognition > Voice recog. training .
To activate a voice command for a function, select Menu > Settings > Phone > Voice
recognition > Voice commands, a feature and a subsequent function.
indicates that
the voice command is activated.
To activate the voice tag, select Add.
To play the activated voice command, select Play.
To use voice commands, see "Voice dialing," p. 18.
To manage the voice commands, scroll to a phone function, and select from the following options:
• Edit or Remove — to change or deactivate the voice command of the selected function
• Add all or Remove all — to activate or deactivate voice commands to all functions in the
voice commands list
