The full color LCD screen (8) displays the
files, folders, recordings, play mode, and
record mode for the M3 unit.
The unit has a built in backlight feature,
however to save energy it turns off after
30-35 seconds. To turn the backlight back
on simply press any button on the front of

LINE IN
MIC IN (5) is where you connect the signal
coming from a microphone source via an
1/8" (3.5 mm) input.
LINE IN (6) is where you connect the signal
coming from a line source via an 1/8" (3.5
mm) input.
*Note: MIC and LINE signals can only be read
one at a time when recording. If they are both
connected to the unit at the same time, only the
MIC connection will be recorded.
PHONES/ LINE OUT (7) sends the signal to
headphones or an output source through an
1/8" (3.5 mm) output.

are named according to the format of the file
