CAUTION
Disposing of electrical or electronic devices at the end of their life (applicable in
all countries of the European Union and in other European states with separate
collection systems)
Specifically, consumers must not dispose of WEEE as municipal waste, but must dispose of
this type of waste separately, in one of two possible ways:
1) At municipal collection centres (also called eco-stations, recycling points), directly or
through the collection services of municipal companies, where these are available.
2) At sales outlets selling new electrical and electronic equipment.
Here, very small items of WEEE (with the longest side less than 25cm) can be left free of
charge, while larger ones can be left on a 1-for-1 basis, i.e., you can leave the old item when
you buy a new one with the same function.
In the event of illegal disposal of electrical or electronic equipment, the penalties provided for
by current legislation on environmental protection may be applied (It is necessary to check the
regulations in force in the country of use/disposal of the vehicle).
If WEEE contains batteries or accumulators, these must be removed and disposed of in
specific separate waste collection areas.
This symbol on the product or packaging indicates that the product
should not be considered as normal household waste, but instead
should be taken to an appropriate collection point for recycling
electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
potential negative consequences for
the environment and health that could otherwise be caused by its
inappropriate disposal. Recycling materials will help to conserve natural
resources.
For more detailed information about recycling this product, you can
contact your municipal office, local waste disposal service or the outlet
where you purchased it.
