6. FM Radio
Select "FM" in the main menu to switch to FM reception.
6.1 Station search
You can automatically search for FM stations. To start the automatic station search, please press the
<OK> button on the remote control or on the radio. The search stops at the next station found and
the radio starts playing.
6.1.1 Automatic station storage
You can automatically store all receivable stations in the memory locations. To do this, press the
<MENU> button and select "Scan To Preset". The search is started and up to 40 stations are stored
with the reception frequency. Playback begins automatically with the first stored station.
6.2 Scan settings
You can use this function to determine whether only stations with a strong reception signal are taken
into account. To do this, press the <MENU>, button and select "Scan Setting". In the following
menu you can now select "Strong Stations Only" or "All Stations". The current setting is indicated
by "ü".
6.3 Audio settings
For stations with poor reception, a slight quality improvement can be achieved by switching to mono
reception. To do this, press the <MENU> button and select "Audio Setting". Select "Stereo Al-
lowed" or or "Forced Mono" in the following menu. The current setting is indicated by "ü".
6.4 Favorites (Presets)
40 memory locations (favourites) are available for storing FM stations.
6.4.1 Storing FM stations on the direct selection buttons 1-5 on the radio:
On the radio, you can assign memory locations 1 - 5 using the number keys. To do this, select the
desired station and press a number key until "Preset x saved" appears in the display. The memory
locations can be called up by pressing the button briefly.
6.4.2 Storing FM stations with the remote control:
Memory locations 1–10 can be assigned using the number buttons on the remote control. To do
this, select the desired station and press a number key on the remote control until "Preset x saved"
appears in the display. The memory locations can now be called up by pressing the remote control
briefly.
6.4.3 Saving FM stations in memory locations 11 - 40:
Select the desired station and hold down the <FAVORITE> button on the radio or <FAV> on the
remote control. Now select a memory location from the list of station memories and confirm the
selection with the <NAVIGATE> button on the radio. "Preset x saved" appears on the display. You
can easily call up the memory locations by briefly pressing the <FAVORITE> button on the radio or
<FAV> on the remote control. Use the <UP/DOWN> buttons or the <NAVIGATE> knob to select a
