Claims for defects and liability
DENIOS is not liable for claims for defects, damage or injury to persons or property caused by one or more of
the following:
Misuse
Incorrect assembly, commissioning, operation or maintenance
Non-observance of the notices in the operating instructions
Operation with defective safety equipment or safety and protective equipment which has been fitted
incorrectly or which is not in working order
Use of the product when defects or faults are present
Incorrectly conducted repair work
Vandalism
Catastrophe situations caused by the effect of foreign bodies and force majeure
Independent conversion of the product
2.1

Intended use of the equipment

Drum lifter LD-SK makes it easy to lift and transport various types of steel and plastic drums:
205 – 230L steel ribbed drums in accordance with EN 15750-2
208 – 216.5L steel lidded drums in accordance with EN 15750-1
220L plastic lidded drums
220L plastic L ring drums
The actual suitability of the drum lifter must be demonstrated by the operator by a practical test with the
drum.
2.2

Operator duties

National directives and safety regulations must be complied with.
2.2.1

Before commissioning

Drum lifter with hydraulic pump:
Before using for the first time, the oil screw on the hydraulic cylinder
must be replaced by the perforated screw included in the delivery.
The drum lifter must then be raised with a load on board to bleed the
hydraulic system. This method can also be used for removing any air
bubbles in the hydraulic system in the future.
The system is permanently ventilated
during operation by the perforated
screw.
