1.4 Specifi ed conditions of use
The pipeline inspection system can be used to view and inspect pipes. The systems consist of three major
modules:
- Pipeline inspection reels M18 SIC36 or M18 SIC60
The pipeline inspection reel stores and controls the deployment of the push cable. The reels are available in
two sizes, the M18SIC36 mostly used in pipe sizes from 50 mm - 150 mm and the larger M18SIC60 mostly
used in pipe sizes from 75 mm - 250 mm.
Both sizes include push cable with a spring assembly that the self-leveling camera head mounts on.
WIRELESS MONITOR M18SIM and CONTROL HUB M18 SISH M18SISH will work with both size reels.
Both sizes can be used either in the vertical upright position or on its side in a horizontal position. The
M18SIC36 has a mounting plate on the back to attach backpack straps.
- Control hub M18 SISH
The CONTROL HUB M18 SISH is the brain of the pipeline inspection system.
The WIRELESS MONITOR M18SIM or tablet running the Milwaukee® pipeline inspection app connects to the
CONTROL HUB M18 SISH to receive the recording video and captured pictures. Both are stored in the CONTROL
HUB M18 SISH internal drive.
- Wireless monitor M18 SIM (not included, available seperately)
The WIRELESS MONITOR M18SIM allows for viewing the raw video from the camera head, recording videos and
capturing picture images and playback functions of video and picture fi les. During the recording of videos, audio
comments can be captured through the internal microphone, and text comments can be added via the labels
option. These text comments will appear in the recorded video and will show in the pictures along with the
system time, system date and distance of deployed push cable
Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal use.
1.5 Radio Frequency Interface Requirements - Related to European installation
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a EN 300 440 v2.1.1 receiver
Category 3.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential
installation.
This equipment is sensitive to other equipment that intentionally generates, radio frequency energy in the 2402-
2480MHz that may conduce to the instability to use the Remote Control on it. However there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment suff er from the harmful interference from
another radio device to radio this can be determined by turning the respective equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Turn off the disturbance equipment
- Increase the separation between the disturbance equipment
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio technician for help
