7. PRECauTIoNS foR uSE
- It is strictly forbidden to connect the 230V~ 50Hz supply voltage to terminals B1, B2,
B1' or B2'. Damage may occur if the PC is connected.
- The connections between the switching unit, shutter unit, dimcontroller, RF interface,
PC-Link and the PC-Logic must comply with the polarities. B1 must always be connected
to B1 and B2 to B2. If this is not the case, the installation will not function or errors may
occur.
- The PC software has been designed to program a Nikobus installation and not to be
continuously connected to the Nikobus. The PC causes an unnecessary load on the
Nikobus.
- If PC-link as well as PC-logic is connected, it is advisable to do the programming with
PC-Logic.
8. TRouBLESHooTING
- No text on the display: check the 230V connection
- '!' appears on the display: read the error code in the 'Check Error' menu.
—> Error #2: have the device checked by the Niko repair service
—> Error #3: check the bus wiring B'1 B'2
—> Error #5: check the bus wiring B1 B2
—> Error #6: check the bus wiring B'1 B'2
—> Error #7: remove error via 'CHECK ERROR" and you can proceed
