6.4
Pull the straps back in the sequence "Neck", "Temple" and "Front". The neck and temple
straps of the harness should be pulled back preferably in pairs and using both hands
(figure 5). Then pull the front straps. In the ideal position of the harness, the edge of the
mask seal is felt to exert a uniform pressure on the face.
6.5
The best way of donning the mask is to adjust the harness straps pulling them
perpendicularly to the mask itself (figure 6).
6.6
After donning the mask and before use, carry out a tightness test by closing the input
threaded connector with the palm of the hand and making sure the mask fits well onto
face (figure 7a). For C607 TWIN model only, close both the filter connectors with the
palm of the hands and making sure the mask fits well onto face (figure 7b). No air must
be felt passing into the mask while inhaling. This tightness test must be carried out 2-3
times. The mask can be used only after passing the tightness test.
6.7
In order to take the mask off, loosen the straps in the same sequence followed in the
donning procedure (see 6.4). Push the buckles forward with your thumbs (figure 8). Slip
off the mask from the chin and then lift it from the head.

Maintenance, cleaning and disinfection

The test consists in checking that are not noticed leakages through the mask after
donning it, closing the inhalation inlet with the palm of the hand and building a negative
pressure by attempting to inhale.
4)
The test consists in checking that are not noticed leakages from the mask while keeping
breath after donning it complete of the breathing apparatus with the cylinder valve open
and the demand in breathing mode.
5)
Fix the new gasket with a small amount of Loctite 480 and wait few moments until it
