Replacement of filter connectors for C607 TWIN only
Remove the clamping ring without damaging the faceblank. Take the threaded connector
to be replaced out from the facepiece and insert the new one with its gasket in order that
the centring guides of the rubber piece coincide with the threaded connector arrows.
Reassemble the clamping ring and tighten it again with a special tool in order to insure a
perfect leak tightness. Check that the yellow rubber of the inhalation valve has been properly
replaced. Note that the threaded connector is complete of exhalation valve assembly.
10.5
Replacement of exhalation valve assembly
Remove the inner mask from the housing of the exhalation valve assembly. Remove the
clamping ring without damaging the faceblank. Remove from the faceblank both valve
assemblies to be replaced. Make sure that the groove housing the valve is not dirty or
damaged and clean it, if necessary. Insert the new spare parts, connecting them carefully
to the inner half mask. Assemble again the clamping rings and tighten with a special tool in
order to insure a perfect leak tightness.
10.5.1
Replacement of exhalation valves for negative pressure models only
Remove the cap from the exhalation valve assembly. Remove the valve from the housing
pulling it with thumb and forefinger. Check that the valve holder and the housing are not
dirty or damaged, clean them, if necessary. Insert the valve-stem in the central hole of the
housing and pull it strongly from the inside of the faceblank until a click is heard. Replace
the cap.
10.6
Replacement of inhalation valve
10.6.1
C607 E, C607 SP/A, C607 CL3, C607 SELECTA, C607 SP/A ESA, C607 SP/A
ATEX, C607 SP/A TP, C607 MD, C607 TP models
Remove the inner mask from the internal part of the full face. Hold with your thumb and
forefinger the valve and pull it so that the inhalation valve is free and can be easily removed
from the pin Assemble the new valve on the pin. Replace the inner mask. . Check the black
gasket on the inhalation valve threaded connector from the outside of the faceblank, if it's
worn-out or damaged, it must be replaced.
10.6.2
for C607 TWIN model only
Remove the yellow rubber disks on the filter connectors from the inside of the mask. Place
the new ones taking care that they are correctly positioned.
10.7
Replacement of Inner mask
Remove the inner mask from the internal part of the full face. Take the new inner mask,
complete with check valves, and insert the edge of the central hole in the internal groove of
the threaded connector. After checking the correct centred position of the inner mask itself,
insert the edge of the side holes in the grooves on the exhalation valve housings in order to
insure a perfect leak tightness.
