    Enhorabuena por la adquisición de esta BH ATOMX. ¡Disfrute su BH! Las siglas BH son, desde hace más de un siglo, sinónimo de bicicletas, ciclismo y espíritu deportivo y de superación. Con BH muchos niños han dado sus primeras y vacilantes pedaladas y, también, míticos ciclistas han forjado su leyenda sobre alguna sus bicicletas.

    ATOMX MANUAL USUARIO 1. INFORMACIÓN DE SEGURIDAD 1.1 CONDUCCIÓN • No pedalee ni mueva la bicicleta mientras el cargador de batería está conectado. Si lo hace, podría provocar que el cable de alimentación se enrede en los pedales, lo que podría dañar el cargador de batería, el cable de alimentación y/o el puerto.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL SISTEMA DE PEDALEO ASISTIDO 3.1 Componentes del Sistema de Pedaleo Asistido El sistema de pedaleo asistido de BH EMOTION se compone de los siguientes elementos: A.    U n motor, que impulsa la bicicleta. La posición del motor identificará el tipo de sistema empleado  en la bicicleta: a. Sistema con Motor Central. Motor ubicado en el eje de pedalier.

    ATOMX MANUAL USUARIO 4.2 Funcionamiento del Mando de Control 4.2.1. Encendido y Apagado del Sistema de Pedaleo Asistido Pulsando el botón POWER durante 3 segundos se enciende el sistema de pedaleo asistido. Pulsando una segunda vez el botón POWER durante 3 segundos, el sistema de pedaleo asistido se desconecta. La bicicleta puede utilizarse normalmente sin ningún tipo de asistencia.

Pulsando el botón (-) durante 3 segundos, se enciende y se apaga la retroiluminación de la pantalla del mando de control. Asimismo, también se encienden y se apagan las luces en aquellos modelos equipados con un sistema de luces alimentado desde la batería.

    La batería que equipa su BH contiene celdas de iones de litio, y representa la tecnología más avanzada en términos de densidad energética (energía almacenada por kilogramo de peso y por cm de volumen). La gama actual de baterías de BH ATOM X dispone de diferentes capacidades en función de la versión adquirida.

    ATOM USER MANUAL 1. SAFETY INFORMATION 1.1 RIDING • Do not pedal or move the bicycle while the battery charger is connected. If you do, it may cause the power cable to become entangled in the pedals, which may damage the battery charger, the power cable and/or the charging port.

As the battery pack and battery charger reach temperatures of 40–70°C during charging, touching them may lead to first degree burns. • If the battery case is damaged, cracked or you notice unusual smells, do not use it. The leakage of fluid  from the battery may cause serious injury.

PEDAL ASSISTANCE SYSTEM OPERATION 3.1 Components of the Pedal Assistance System The BH EMOTION pedal assistance system consists of the following components: A.  A  motor, which drives the bicycle. The location of the motor identifies the type of system used a. Central Motor System. Motor located on the bottom bracket axle. b. Rear Motor System. Motor located on the rear hub.

    ATOM USER MANUAL 3.2 The Pedal Assistance System The pedal assistance system is designed to provide the optimal amount of assisted power. It provides assistance within a standard range, based on factors such as the pedalling force, the speed of the bicycle and the drivetrain.

    USER MANUAL ATOM 3.5 Starting Pedalling Before resting your feet on the pedals, you must sit on the seat and hold the handlebar firmly. Special care  should be taken if you start pedalling when using a high assistance mode (100%/BOOST mode, or 70%/SPORT mode), as the motor will respond with maximum thrust and you may lose control. To facilitate acceleration, the motor provides an additional initial thrust as soon as you start pedalling.

Switching the Pedal Assistance System On and Off The pedal assistance system is turned on by holding down the POWER button for 3 seconds. The pedal assistance system is turned off by holding down the POWER button again for 3 seconds. The bicycle can be used normally without any type of assistance.

The lights will also be switched on and off in those models equipped with a battery-powered light system.   • Page 41 ATOM USER MANUAL 4.2.6. Settings Menu The user can access the settings menu by holding down the (+) and (-) buttons for 3 seconds. Press the (+) and (-) buttons to scroll through the different settings options. When you press the POWER button, you will enter the selected menu.

    5. BATTERY AND CHARGER 5.1 Technology The battery that your BH bike is equipped with contains lithium-ion cells and is the most advanced technology available in terms of energy density (energy stored per kilogram of weight and per cm of volume).

    Lithium-ion batteries have the following characteristics: A) Their performance decreases in extremely hot or cold environments. B) One additional characteristic of BH EMOTION lithium-ion batteries is that they have no “memory effect”, and are not affected by incomplete discharging. C) They lose their charges naturally and gradually with use. The battery can be fully discharged (100%) approximately 500 times, with maximum battery deterioration of 20%.

This is possible thanks to the energy saving modes 5.3.1 Transport Mode (only during the first use) In order to minimise internal consumption while transporting the bicycle from the factory to the store, the battery is in Transport mode.

F) Has a temperature of between 15–25 °C. 5.5 Unsuitable Charging and Discharging Environments and Solutions The hot and cold environments described below may lead to charging entering stand by or sleep mode without fully charging the battery.

    Isn't a BH bicycle extremely heavy? Not really, if you consider that the weight of BH EMOTION bicycles is between 15 kg and 30 kg, depending on the model, making them the lightest electric bicycles on the market. Pedal assistance means that a BH bike weighs 3-6 kg more than a standard bicycle with the same characteristics, because of the battery and the motor.

    5. BATTERIA E ALIMENTATORE 5.1 Tecnologia La batteria installata su questa BH contiene celle agli ioni di litio e rappresenta la tecnologia più avanzata in termini di densità energetica (energia immagazzinata per chilogrammo di peso e per centimetro cubo di volume).

    Le batterie agli ioni di litio hanno le seguenti caratteristiche: A) Il loro rendimento cala in ambienti estremamente caldi o freddi. B) Una caratteristica aggiuntiva delle batterie a ioni di litio di BH EMOTION è l'assenza del cosiddetto "effetto memoria" e il non essere influenzate da cicli di scarica non completi. C) La carica si perde in modo naturale e progressivo con l'uso. La batteria può scaricarsi completamente (100%) circa 500 volte, con un deterioramento massimo della stessa del 20%.

No: il peso delle biciclette BH EMOTION varia tra i 15 e i 30 kg a seconda del modello, il che le rende le più leggere sul mercato delle biciclette elettriche.
