General Instructions
No modifications or alterations can be made to the product without authorisation from the manufacturer, in the
event of this, the guarantee will be invalidated.
National standards and safety regulations must be observed.
Safety instructions
Any person working with the product is required to have familiarized him/herself with the contents of the
instructions for use.
Before the product is used, it is to be checked for correct functioning. Should any defects appear, it must not be
used!
The German regulations BGV D8 (hoisting, lifting and winching equipment, BGV B1 (handling

dangerous materials) and BGR 500 (load suspension devices in lifting appliance operation) are to be
observed!
Do not walk under suspended loads!

Only use for the intended purpose!

The drums must not be left in a raised position.

The given bearing capacity of fork lift trucks and fork lift truck attachments must not be exceeded!

Use and intended purpose
The drum lifting gripper is a means of load lifting that is intended for 60-200 litre steel drums. With the drum lifting
gripper the drums can be lifted from lying or standing and transported.
It is also possible to raise a lying drum into a standing position.
Technical details
The drum lifting brace consists of two clamps that are connected to an eye by means of chains. A spring prevents
the clamps from being unintentionally released.
Assembly
The drum lifting gripper must be hooked on and lifted up by a crane eye.
Care must be taken that the drums to be lifted are dry and oil- or grease-free!
