IMPORTANT WARNINGS
• This device is also intended for direct use by the patient.
• As with any electrical device, especially in the presence of children, LightNeb
requires certain precautions.
• The device must not be used as a toy. Please pay close attention when used by
children.
• If the device is used by or in the presence of children or people who require
supervision, strict monitoring by an adult who has read this manual is neces-
sary.
• This product must not be used by unconscious patients or not breathing
spontaneously.
• Some parts of the device are small enough to be swallowed by children; keep
the device out of the reach of children.
• If the device is damaged as a result of a fall (e.g. parts coming off ), do not use
the Medical Device but contact an authorised service centre.
• Never use batteries other than those described in this manual.
• Use only batteries of known brands. Always replace both batteries with new
ones and do not mix new and old batteries. Alkaline AA Ni-MH or Lithium bat-
teries may be used, provided they comply with IEC 60086-4 (if non-recharge-
able) and IEC 62133 (if rechargeable).
Recharging can be achieved using a battery charger not supplied with this de-
