If the manufacturer's specifications are not observed, this can result in electric shock, fire and/or serious personal injury or death.
  • Page 7 Basic Safety Instructions 3. Intentionally breaking the protective conductor either in the feed line or in the product itself is not permitted. Doing so can result in the danger of an electric shock from the product. If extension cords or connector strips are implemented, they must be checked on a regular basis to ensure that they are safe to use.

If a product is to be permanently installed, the connection between the protective conductor terminal on site and the product's protective conductor must be made first before any other connection is made. The product may be installed and connected only by a licensed electrician.

    ® Product Description R&S RT-ZD40 Description of the Probe 1.3.2 Probe Box The probe box connects the probe and the oscilloscope via the Rohde & Schwarz probe interface. The Rohde & Schwarz probe interface contains a male precision 7 mm (276 mil) BNC connector and six pogo pin connectors. This interface pro- vides the required supply voltage and is also used for simultaneously transmitting analog signals and digital data.
