Maintenance regulations
• Repair work may only be performed by authorised repair shops.
• The complete Geberit welding plate must be sent for repair in a suitable transport container.

Regularly (before use, at the start of
the working day)
Clean the welding plate
Proper care will extend the service life of the coating on the Geberit welding plate significantly.
The Geberit welding plate must be cleaned at regular intervals depending on how frequently it is
used. In the case of heavy use, it is recommended to clean it between each welding process.
WARNING
Danger of fatal electric shock
Incorrect cleaning can lead to death or serious injuries.
▶ Disconnect the power supply before carrying out cleaning.
▶ Never clean the Geberit welding plate with water or other liquids.
▶ Never immerse the Geberit welding plate in water or other liquids.
▶ Make sure that all surfaces have dried completely before reconnecting the power supply.
WARNING
Risk of injury from burns
The Geberit welding plate can burn the skin when hot.
▶ Wear protective gloves.
ATTENTION
Damage to the coating caused by incorrect cleaning
▶ Do not use sharp or pointed objects when cleaning.

Disconnect the mains plug.

Clean dirty Geberit welding plates while still hot using a clean, dry cloth.

▶ Examine the Geberit welding plate for externally visible defects
and damage.
▶ Clean the Geberit welding plate and check its operability.
