Radio-controlled alarm clock
• A green bar appears at the bottom of the button.
• The date disappears and the current alarm time and the alarm
symbol appear on the display.
• Once the alarm starts to ring, you can stop the alarm by press-
ing the Alarm on/off button.
• The set alarm time disappears and the date appears on the dis-
play.
• The green bar disappears at the bottom of the button.
• The snooze function can be activated with the IR motion sen-
sor (wave hand 5 cm above of the sensor) or press the
Snooze/Light button at the back of the instrument.
• Zz will be flashing on the display.
• The alarm will be interrupted for four minutes.
• If the alarm is not stopped manually, the alarm will automati-
cally turn off after 2 minutes and will be reactivated at the
same time.

7.6 Backlight

• The backlight can be activated with the IR motion sensor
(wave hand 5 cm above of the sensor) or press the
Snooze/Light button at the back of the instrument.
• The backlight turns on for a five seconds.

8. Care and maintenance
• Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use sol-
vents or scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries if you do not use the product for a long
period of time.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.

8.1 Battery replacement

• Change the batteries when the battery symbol appears on the
display.
• Open the battery compartment and insert two new batteries
1.5 V AAA. Ensure that the battery polarities are correct.
• Close the battery compartment again.
