RELAUNCH
DO NOT WAIT FOR YOUR KITE TO FALL IN THE WATER WHILE RIDING TO LEARN HOW TO
RELAUNCH IT. INSTEAD, PRACTISE A FEW TIMES IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT.
When the kite lays on its leading edge you need to let
go of the bar completely
When the kite sits on its wing tip, grab the bar pull
gently on the side connected to the tip which is up in
the air. The top back line is pulled and the kite slides
easily to the edge of the fl ying window.
The kite will pivot on its own and travel slowly
towards the edge of the window: this is the auto-
relaunch (featured on BANDIT, BANDIT S, BREEZE,
ONE & TRUST)
Once the kite reaches the edge of the fl y-ing window,
you may proceed to the re-launch. Make sure your
chicken loop is still connected to your harness before
you launch the kite as you may get pulled hard
otherwise.

STOP & GO
(BANDIT, BANDIT S, BREEZE, ONE & TRUST)
Stop & Go : the kite sits at the edge of the fl ying
window, waiting for you to relaunch it. It can stay
in this position until you decide to relaunch it.
TIPS TO RELAUNCH
SWINGING THE KITE ON ITS TIP
You can walk to-wards the kite If you are within your depth.
Think about this technique for a faster re-launch (in waves or when facing an obstacle or simply
when the wind is too light)
To relaunch, grab the bar and pull on the side
connected to the top wing tip (the one out of the
water)
