2 Introduction

General features

Waterlift is a device to make it easier to get into and out of a swimming pool.
Waterlift is a machine designed as an accessory for any type of swimming pool and user. One of its main
applications is for people with reduced mobility, and even people with a non-dependent disability. It is
designed to provide greater ease and comfort for the bather to get into and out of the swimming pool.
WARNING
Waterlift can lift a maximum load of 140 kg from its minimum to maximum position.
The Waterlift structure is made out of AISI-316 Ø 43 mm stainless steel tube to guarantee longer product
durability, thus preventing rusting and the action of chemicals used in swimming pools. For greater safety
and user comfort, the surfaces of non-structural plastic parts have been made with a non-slip surface.
The Waterlift is operated simply and safely using two double push-buttons strategically positioned on the
handrail:
At the top, outside the swimming pool, for the bather to get into the swimming pool.
At the bottom, on the edge of the swimming pool, for the bather to get out.
The lift's ergonomically-designed step gives the user the feeling of being comfortable and safe, therefore:
Soles of the feet adapt to the step base without the possibility of slipping thanks to its non-slip surface.
It does not rub against the side of the swimming pool or with the lifting guides thanks its flexible
guards.
NOTE
A DVD with a promotional video of the APSignature products comes with this manual, with an
example of how to install the Waterlift. The installation shown in the example may not apply to your
swimming pool. Consult section 6 for the Waterlift installation.

3 Supply from the factory

The Waterlift is supplied from the factory as one package with two parts. To prevent damage during
transport and handling, it is supplied with a strong corrugated cardboard packaging, strapped to a long
wooden pallet. The total size of the package is 1000 x 2600 x 1410 mm.
