compressed air (oil; water; dirt particles). ►
Disconnect the outlet hose and fill the air hose
with a little petroleum. Connect the device to the
compressed air supply until no more petroleum
comes out of the silencer. Repeat this process
multiple times if necessary.
Engine broken. ► Engine must be overhauled.
Blade holder/detachable blade comes loose
during operations
Blade holder/detachable blade was not firmly
attached to the piston rod during assembly. ►
Reattach the blade holder/detachable blade and
check how far it slides into the assembly slot: the
clamping screw should be in the centre of the slot.
The clamping screw was not done up tightly
enough to the required 3 Nm. ► Use the 3-Nm
torque wrench provided.
Drive piston bangs (audible as the device is
starting up or running). ► If the piston only bangs
audibly once as the device is starting up then try
to pull the control lever a little more slowly. ► If
the piston keeps banging while the device is
running then the engine must be overhauled
immediately
Device losing power
Clogged filter in the compressed air hose
connection. ► Clean/change the filter.
System air pressure too low. ► Test/set the air
pressure (6 bar dynamic).
Too much oil or condensation in the compressed
air. ► Regulate the quantity of oil and/or filter out
the condensation.
Blade holder/detachable blade stuck or not
moving freely. ► Depressurise the system and
check that the blade holder/detachable blade is
moving freely. ► If the blade holder is not moving
freely, the plastic guide on the blade holder or the
blade holder guide on the handle should be
replaced. ► If the detachable blade is not moving
