A fi re may occur if the device is not handled carefully.
■
– Be careful when using the device near to combustible
materials.
– Do not aim the device at the same spot for a prolonged
period of time.
– Do not use the device in a potentially explosive atmos-
phere.
– Heat can be directed to combustible materials which are
concealed.
– Place the device down on the stand after use and allow it
to cool down before it is stored away.
– Do not leave the device unattended while it is in operation.
Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Do not replace the

connecting cable yourself. If the device or the connecting cable
are damaged, they must be repaired / replaced by the manufac-
turer, customer service department or a specialist workshop in
order to avoid any hazards.
DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock
■ Never immerse the motor unit and the connecting cable in water or other liquids and
ensure that these components cannot fall into water or become wet.
■ Should the motor unit fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do
not attempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains
power! Have the device checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.
■ Never touch the motor unit and the connecting cable with wet hands when the device
is connected to the mains power.
■ When the device is used, make sure that it is not exposed to any rain or moisture.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■ Keep children and animals away from plastic bags and fi lms. There is a danger of
suff ocation.
■ In the interest of your own safety, inspect the device and the connecting cable for
damage each time before you use it. Use the device only if it is in working order.
■ Danger of burns! Never direct the outlet pipe or the nozzle at people or animals!
■ Make sure that the connecting cable does not present a trip hazard.
