Application
Operation is possible in conjunction with:
• Pressurized storage heaters
• Thermally controlled instantaneous heaters
• Hydraulically controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with low-pressure storage heaters (displacement
water heaters) is not possible.
Specifications
• Max. flow
• Flow pressure
- min.
- recommended
- greater than 72.5 psi, fit pressure
reducing valve
• Max. operating pressure
• Test pressure
• Temperature
- max. (hot water inlet)
- handle rotation stop available (oder No. 46 308)
• Water connection
• Deck thickness max.
• Non reversible cartridge
Notes:
- Major pressure differences between hot and cold water
supply should be avoided.
- To be installed according to local codes and regulations.
- This faucet is not intended for the use with portable
appliances.
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly.
Prepare sink unit
Refer to the dimensional drawings on fold-out page I.
Mount faucet on sink
For installation you require only a 13mm (1/2") socket wrench,
see fold-out page II, fig. [1].
Note:
If brace (A) is omitted, deck thickness can be increased by
9/16" to a total of 2 3/8".
Connect faucet
With an open-ended wrench 16mm (5/8") the supply hoses
must be connected to the angle stops (or other supply points),
see figs. [1] and [2].
The hot water supply should be connected on the left (marked
red), the cold water supply on the right side (marked blue).
Avoid cross connection. The cartridge is not reversible.
We recommend using flexible pressure hoses to faciliate
assembly or for extension purposes.
Connect spray hose with handspray (33 937)
(Do not use additional seals)
- Mount spray holder (B) to deck using the compensation
ring (B1), see fig. [3]. If compensation ring (B1) is omitted,
deck thickness can be increased by 13/16" to a total of
2 3/8".
- Insert spray hose (C) complete with handspray (D) from
above through the spray holder (B).
- Connect spray hose (C) to swivel connection (E) of the
faucet.
Open angle stops.
Check connections for leakage.

Operation
Pull lever
Press lever down
Move lever to right
Move lever to left
Operate the side spray with the faucet turned on. If water
additionally flows out of the spout the diverter should be
cleaned, see maintenance instructions.
9.5 L/min or 2.5 gpm/80 psi
Flow rate limiter
8.3 L/min or 2.2 gpm/60 psi
This cartridge is fitted with a flow rate limiter, permitting the
flow rate to be infinitely variably reduced by up to 50%.
7.25 psi
The highest possible flow rate is set by the factory before
14.5 - 72.5 psi
shipping.
145 psi
232 psi
To limit the flow rate please proceed as follows:
1. Strip lever lower part (G), see fig. [4].
176 °F
2. Loosen set screw (H) using a 3mm (1/8") allen wrench,
hot - LH
3. Pull off lever (J).
cold - RH
4. Unscrew cap (K).
2 3/8"
5. Change flow rate by turning hexagon socket screw clock-
Assemble in reserve order.
Maintenance
Shut off the hot and cold water supply!
I. Cartridge, see fig. [7].
II. Check valve, see fig. [7].
III. Diverter, see fig. [8].
IV. Flow regulator (13 955 / 13 960), see fold-out page I.
Check, clean and if necessary replace parts. Grease with
special valve grease (Cat.No. 18 012).
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I ( * = special
accessories).
Care
Instructions for care of this single lever faucet will be found in
the Limited Warranty supplement.
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with
hydraulic instantaneous water heaters is not
recommended.

wise with a 1.5mm allen wrench. Turn clockwise (to reduce
flow) or anticlockwise (to increase flow), see fig. [6].
1. Strip lever lower part (G).
2. Loosen set screw (H) using a 3mm (1/8") allen wrench.
3. Pull off lever (J).
4. Unscrew cap (K).
