Mounting by through bolt joint
•
Attach connecting piece with G ½ internal thread to the tube. Recom-
mended length of the connecting piece: 10 to 30 mm
•
Pull protective sleeve from sensor head 9.
•
Unscrew the nut of the through bolt joint and slide the joint carefully
over the sensor head and the sensor tube.
•
Introduce through bolt joint into the tube connection and tighten it. Intro-
duce sensor into the joint until the desired immersion depth is reached.
Next tighten the spigot nut of the through bolt joint.
•
If a gas-tight connection is required, the mounting thread must be
wrapped with a commercially available sealing tape, for example made
of PTFE, prior to mounting.
Note: The through bolt joint 301082 is only designed for use in pressure-
free systems.
