1. General
After unpacking and before initial operation please ensure that the equipment and all corresponding
accessories are in perfect condition. In the event that damage has been caused during transportation
please immediately contact the corresponding supplier or manufacturer. The packaging materials
(polybag, polystyrene, nails etc.) must be kept out of the reach of children as they represent potential
hazards.
A normal light bulb is quite unsuited as assimilation lighting (growth promotion) as it radiates a lot of
red light and thus causes the plants to 'shoot' in length. The SUPERGROW LED plant light was developed to
provide a professional light combination for the amateur greenhouse. In contrast to plant lamps that use
light bulbs the SUPERGROW LED provides the type and quantity of light required for healthy plant growth
and also has low power consumption levels. In the winter months there is a shortage of sunlight, especially
in countries between the fortieth and eightieth degree of latitude, which can now be bridged in an
economical waywith a suitable lamp. This equipment is only approved for connection to 230 V ~, 50/60 Hz
alternating current. It must be protected from heavy soiling and damp. Damage can be caused to the
equipment or other hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, electric shock etc caused if it is used in a different
way to that described above. It is essential that the safety and installation instructions be followed at all
times. When using a multiple socket or an extension cable please ensure that the maximum power
capacity is not exceeded.

3. Safety and Hazard Notes
• The only permissible power source is a 230 V ~, 50-60 Hz mains socket from the public power
supply. Never try to operate the equipment using a different voltage.
• Contact a professional if you have doubts regarding the operating principles, safety or
connection of the equipment.
• This equipment may only be used indoors.
• The equipment must be removed from the power supply before opening the cover or removing parts.
• The mains plug may never be inserted or removed using wet hands.
• Pull on the grip surfaces of the plug to remove it from the socket, never on the mains cable itself.
