3.3 CE label

The CE label shows that the products
comply with the basic requirements of the
applicable directives as stated on the iden-
tification plate.
The declaration of conformity can be
viewed at the manufacturer's site.
4 Operation

4.1 Switching on the product

Applicability: VAR 60/1 D
Use the on/off button to switch on all
of the ventilation units in the ventila-
tion system.
Use the VAZ CPC control or the
VAZ RC remote control to set an
operating mode and the functions.

5 Troubleshooting

Conditions: Ventilation units do not work
Switch off the product.
Check whether the fan unit has been
installed correctly on the wall-mounting
frame.
Check whether the contact for the plug
connection has been correctly estab-
lished.
Conditions: Strong wind, Ventilation not possible
Switch the product to eco mode.

6 Care and maintenance

Maintenance work must be carried out on
the product approx. every three months
(approx. 2000 operating hours).
If the LED (1) on the product lights up red,
maintenance is required.
If a VAZ CPC or VAZ CPCW controller is
installed, the central LED on the control
signals that maintenance is required.

6.1 Cleaning the fan unit, wind

guard and front panel

Caution.
Damage to the regenerator.
The regenerator may fall during
cleaning.
Clean the regenerator care-
fully.
