Introduction

Dear Customer
The PIR Switch is a 110° movement detector built to the latest
technological standards.
Construction is in accordance with EN 60669. Moreover, the
product has been EMV-tested and fulfils the requirements of
the applicable European and national directives. Conformance
to these has been proven; the relevant statements and docu-
ments are lodged with the manufacturer.
To maintain this condition and to guarantee safe operation, the
user must without fail observe these operating instructions!

Authorised use:

• Manual or automatic operation in indoor concealed sockets with
a voltage of 220 to 240 V AC 50 to 60 Hz.
• Permitted loads are light bulbs (no fluorescent tubes or halogen
transformers, etc.) up to 400 W max. operating with an AC volta-
ge between 220 and 240 V AC.
• Operation must not take place under unfavourable ambient con-
ditions. Unfavourable ambient conditions include:
- wetness or excessive air humidity
- dust and combustible gases, fumes or solvents
- thunderstorms or storm conditions such as electrostatic fields,
etc.
Any other use than as described above can lead to damage to the
unit or to the connected load(s). Moreover, this can be accompa-

nied by hazards, such as for example short-circuit, fire, electric
shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or converted.
The safety instructions are to be followed without fail.
