The self-shutdown is not a failure of the navigation light
but the intended consistent implementation of the rele-
vant standard.
This newly developed navigation light series represents in
every respect the current status of LED- and driver technology
with the highest possible degree of safety, durability and relia-
.
bility
Special care is not necessary. The housing and the glass tube of
the navigation lights should occasionally be cleaned using a soft
cloth or a soft sponge and with clear water. Abrasive cleaning
agents (e.g. steel wool) as well as aggressive cleaning agents or
those containing solvents must never be used.
The enclosed and fully screwed housing itself is waterproof.
The built-in LED electronics are waterproof-sealed and thus
protected against dirt and water.
It is not necessary and not possible to change the light source
(as with conventional navigation lights) for this LED navigation
lights.
Solvents and their vapours will destroy plastic materials. We rec-
ommend to disassembly the lights, before work with paint or with
solvents. The colour of the housings must not be changed for
lighting technical reasons.
