2.0 Setting up Alarm Notification
After adding at least one KLAPPE to the HYDROPORT, the new menu
KLAPPE alarm appears in the main menu Settings. Here you define
to which mail addresses the notification must be sent when the hyd­
rant is actuated. Any number of email addresses can be stored. Make
sure that email addresses are separated by a comma.
Note: All email addresses being stored here are going to be notified
for each operated KLAPPE. This also applies to KLAPPE that are ad­
ded at a later date.
3.0 Mounting the KLAPPE on the hydrants
Mount the KLAPPE on the hydrant after configuring it in the HYDRO­
PORT. (Tightening torque max. 10 Nm)
4.0 Put KLAPPE into operation
To avoid unintentional alarms during transport or storage of the
KLAPPE, the device is in standby mode at delivery. In this operating
state, no events are detected or alarms are sent. However, the KLAP­
PE can be put into operating mode by a magnet activation. Follow the
following procedure:
1. Open the KLAPPE so that the status display is visible.
The status display is located directly below the type plate.
The status is indicated by LEDs.
2. Hold a magnet to the top of the protective cover. Position the
magnet in the area of the status display. If the magnet is in the
correct position, a yellow and green LED will light up
simultaneously in the status display
Before removing the magnet, the two LEDs must light up for
at least 3 seconds.
The LEDs will then continue to light up for approx. 10 seconds
in total.
