The button „Activate" appears after adding the new device if the
KLAPPE respectively the ORTOMAT inside the KLAPPE was not yet
activated. Click on this button to use the alarm function, otherwise the
ORTOMAT remains deactivated and, the opening and closing of the
hydrant will not be notified.
As soon as all details of the hydrant have been filled in, click on the
button „Create hydrant" at the end of the page and the new hydrant
including the KLAPPE will be created.
1.2 Adding a KLAPPE to an existing hydrant
To add a KLAPPE to an already existing hydrant in HYDROPORT, use
the hydrant menu Edit by clicking on the symbol with the three dots.
Adding the KLAPPE in the editing mask works in the same way as de
scribed in the previous point (adding the KLAPPE to a new hydrant).
1.3 Add and activate KLAPPE by using QR Code
As an alternative to the manual registration and activation of the
KLAPPE, scan the QR code from the type plate. To do this, open the
KLAPPE, take a picture of the QR code with the Smartphone and
then follow the instructions.
Note: Carry out this step only if you want to use the alarm function of
the KLAPPE.
