KLAPPE in HYDROPORT
The built­in KLAPPE alarm function is at any time available to be
setup in your HYDROPORT. If you do not yet have a personal
HYDROPORT access, it can quickly and easily be ordered at
https://www.idw.world/en/use­it­now.html.
Recommended procedure:
1. Add and activate KLAPPE (if necessary hydrant) in
HYDROPORT
2. Setup KLAPPE alert in HYDROPORT
3. Install KLAPPE on hydrants
4. Put KLAPPE into operation
1.1 Adding a KLAPPE to a new hydrant
While creating a new hydrant in HYDROPORT it is possible to add the
KLAPPE as well. Use therefore the button „Create hydrant" from the
main menu List. This button is located in the upper right­hand side.
By clicking on the button „Create hydrant" an input mask appears.
Use this mask to enter the basic information, hydrant number as well
as manufacturer and model of the hydrant upper part. These are the
minimum data, needed for the registration process.
By clicking on the „Enter details" button, all further details that can be
stored with a hydrant appear.
The field for the KLAPPE is located in the information of the upper
part, between the fields „Year of installation" and „Leak detection".
The field is automatically filled in with the marking „None". If the
KLAPPE is being registered in the HYDROPORT for the first time,
„New KLAPPE" must be selected. New fields for serial number and
PIN will then appear.
! Attention: Enter here the serial number of the KLAPPE and the PIN
of the type plate.
