Put into operation
1. Lift off the lateral connection
cover.

3. Close side valves (1) and open
main valve (2) slowly to the
stop.
5. Open side valves completely.

2. Open the protective cover on
the locking knob and flip open.
4. Open the side valves slightly
until the hydrant is completely
vented. Flush the hydrant suf­
ficiently during initial start­up.
