acoustic signals can be heard. Release button.

always switches on automatically after a delay of 15 seconds:
after the device has been switched on and the heat-up phase
has been completed;
every time a function button is pressed.
The backlighting can be switched on permanently by the upper

is designed for the keypad.

limit has been exceeded
The right-hand button is used to switch the alarm signal on and off.
The current state (alarm signal on or off) can be seen in the display in
the special loudspeaker segment. On the 2nd function level, the catch
mode is reset after the lower explosion limit has been exceeded. CLr

current concentration. Max. 250 ppm can be suppressed, however.

3

Calibration

We recommend having the device monitored and recalibrated once a
year by the manufacturer or specially instructed staff.
4

Replacing the sensor head

Every device has had a certain sensor head assigned for calibration
before delivery. When the sensor head is replaced, e.g. during retro-
fitting with a replacement sensor, re-calibration is required.
5

Fault messages

When the battery voltage is low, the special sign (battery) appears on
the display and the "operation" LED flashes. In this state, the device
can be used for at least another 15 minutes.
The device checks the sensor values for plausibility both in measu-
ring mode and in calibration mode. In addition, the parameter store
is tested for data validity every time the device is switched on. If a
fault is detected, the respective fault code is displayed.
