step P1 to replace the cover.
2. Spring group replacement
CAUTION: Replacement of the springs should be
performed by trained staff.
The springs are under tension and their release
may cause injuries.
Never remove one spring from its bucket and
never overturn a bucket without its cover.
When a spring breaks, you should replace the
entire 3 spring group (article 900-02). This
operation is not only easier and faster than
replacing a single spring, but also avoids
possibly breaking the other two worn springs as
each spring has about the same life.
In order to replace the spring group, these
instructions should be followed in order:
P8- Remove the cover and release the spring
tension as in instructions P1 and P2.
P9- Unsolder the three wires from the B1 printed
circuit board (Fig. B) placed at the center of the
reel (see Note 2). Straighten perfectly the wires.
P10- Unscrew the three nuts in position B3 (Fig.
B). Carefully and slowly raise and remove the
coil with the wound cable.
P11- Unsolder the 3 wires that are soldered at
the E1 spring positions (Fig. E).
P12- Unscrew the 3 nuts at the E2 positions and
remove the spring group. Be careful not to
overturn the spring group so as not to detach
the upper spring.
P13- Install the new spring group. The reference
labels should match. Set it with the three E2
screws (Fig. E) and solder the three E1 wires on
the spring external ends.
P14- Unscrew the 3 nuts placed on the central
plastic pin of the new spring group and remove
the protective cover. Straighten perfectly the 3
wires that come out from the spring group
central area toward the top.
P15- Replace the coil with cable over the spring
group. The 3 wires and 3 screws should enter
the 6 central holes. The yellow-green wire
should enter the hole next to the flat cable. (see
B2 - Fig. B).
P16- Clamp the 3 B3 nuts (Fig. B) and solder the
3 wires to the printed circuit board. Finally,
follow instructions P5-P6-P7.

Note1:
IMPORTANT: When the springs are under
tension, keep the coil with unwound cable
steady with your hand otherwise the springs will
certainly be damaged.
Quick release of the springs will not be stopped
by the cable end, and the rotation of the coil
causes harmful bending of the springs.
Note2:
When you solder or unsolder wires, make sure
you keep the iron's temperature at about 330°C.
Soldering should last only a few seconds in
order to avoid damage to the printed circuit
board.
