1.4 Safety regulations

The ion-exchange column may only be used by qualified personnel.
The specifications of the respective manufacturer must be observed for the maintenance or
replacement of the consumables of the system.
The manufacturer's warranty expires if the device is modified.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper commissioning.
The device must not be operated in potentially explosive areas. The device may only be put into
operation if it is in perfect condition.
The device may only be used for the treatment of liquid process media. Check the ion-exchange
column for possible damage before commissioning. The intended use within the performance limits
must be ensured.
Before any repair work, the column must be disconnected from any media supply, any liquids must be
properly disposed and the column must be rinsed with deionized water.
Damaged ion-exchange columns must be put out of operation immediately. Have defective or
damaged columns repaired only by specialists authorized by the manufacturer. This is in your own
interest. You thus prevent inadequate repairs and possible personal injury.

Use must be carried out exactly as described in this manual. The manufacturer is not liable for any
damage, including consequential damage, that may arise from incorrect installation or incorrect use of
the product.
