1.1 General information

The ion-exchange column PURVEval MX-G is used to operate ion-exchange resins and adsorber
resins on a laboratory scale.
The functional parts are made from high quality plastic parts. The ion exchange column consists
of pressure-resistant borosilicate glass, all rubber parts are made of age-resistant elastomers. The
materials used correspond to the recognized rules of technology.
Every person who works with this ion-exchange column must read these operating instructions in full
beforehand and observe and apply the instructions given.
In addition to the operating instructions, the current and locally applicable regulations for accident
prevention and for safe and professional work must be observed.
These operating instructions must always be available on site.

1.2 Field of use

The ion-exchange column is used to treat liquid process media using ion-exchange resins. The
ion-exchange column is only suitable for technical purposes and not for the preparation of liquids for
human consumption.

1.3 Safety instructions
