SV480/D
Narwhal "SV-480" is a Rescue Boat that complies with SOLAS 1974 Regulation and all its
ulterior Amendments, as well as with Directive 96/98/EC on marine equipment. It is meant
principally for the rescue of persons at sea and for concentrating and towing liferafts. In order to
be totally operative, it must be completed with an outboard engine and an automatic release
hook. (see ANNEX Ι, page 16).
Its operativeness is based on the speed at which it can be launched, so maximum attention is
required regarding the whole set to be kept in perfect conditions and periodical revisions carried
out.
This manual describes the parts of the boat and their operation. Read it carefully and be sure to
have sufficient experience in handling the boat before using it.
Keep this manual in a safe place and in case of sale transfer it to the new owner.
