HAULING

WARNING)
Hauling rings
placed outside the transom are meant to haul life rafts or another boat. Locker
nº 1 contains
blue line for that purpose. Insert the snap hooks in the rings. This is a 50
(C)
metre-length floating line. Be aware that the line never gets stuck in the propeller of the engine.
(The pulley is equipped with a float so to avoid this situation to some extent).
You can also use this line to secure the (L) sea anchor either by bow or by stern, depending on
the sea conditions.

RIGHTING

DANGER
In case the boat capsizes keep calm. The boat is unsinkable and can
even sail with all its compartments deflated. Two lines marked

Be cautious, you could be hit by the boat when it gets right.

RADAR REFLECTOR

Specific tapes reflective to light and to radar are placed on the upper, lower and sides of the
boat. Check them periodically and in case they are damaged replace them by new ones

reference 3M SOLAS 3150A
Radar reflector (F) is placed in locker nº 1. Mount it following the instructions on the packing.
The fitting to place it is a 22mm
base
and fasten the upper nut.

POSITION-INDICATING LIGHT

In locker nº 2 you will find a position-indicating light ( ) consisting of one lamp and two
batteries. This flash-light should work - under normal conditions - for a minimum period of 12
hours without interruption.
Fitting: On the upper part of the tube at starboard stern you will find a red bag where the whole
set of this position-indicating light is kept. House the black base of the lamp under the overlap of
the bag in such a way that it matches de holes. Place the orange body of the lamp on the upper
part of the bag and fit it to the black base. Connect the two batteries. Activate the switch of each
battery pulling the corresponding cable downwards. Keep the batteries and ALL the remaining
cable in the bag.
11.

SEARCHLIGHT

In order to avoid breakage or leakage during transport, the battery is usually supplied in a
separate package. Place it in locker nº 2, against the bow of the boat. Fit the battery (12v 45Ah)
(L) with the angle and screws supplied. Switch the connectors. Searchlight (12v 50W)
(K),placed into locker nº1 is to be connected to the socket (M) provided outside of locker nº 2.
12.

DRAIN

(
WARNING)
In order to scoop the water taken in, remove the cap of the drain
inner part of the transom (drain pot). Speed up and the water will automatically drain away. Do
not forget to close the cap back.
The white drain on the lower external part of the transom is meant to drain away an eventual
intake of water between the hull and the deck (area filled up with polyurethane foam).
