Assembly
Insert the antenna (UBB or LogPer) into the
crossed slot on the front side of the filter housing.
(Be careful: Not too deep!) Connect cable of the
antenna to antenna socket on lower left hand side
of the filter. Make sure not to bend the cable
sharply! Connect the filter „RF out" to the antenna
socket of HF-Analyser.
Caution:
The filter-to-HF-Analyser-cable may pick up stray
HF signals, bypassing the filter. Example: Very
close to DECT-base stations you might hear the
typical DECT sound on the speaker of the ana-
lyser almost irrespective of the filter setting and
also read out the corresponding measurement on
the display.
We can modify our HF-analysers to prevent this.

As an alternative you could use our „piggy-back"
arrangement (which will cover the LEDs, how-
ever!).
FF6 and FF6E include the SMA-Adapter and self-
®
adhesive "Velcros " to do this. (For FF3 you can
order these as accessories).
