(1) Make the connection according to the instructions on
the back of the thermostat (see Fig. 4 & 5). The protec-
tive conductor for the power supply and for the heating
cable is connected to a terminal in the box.
(2) Insert the base into the switch box and fasten with 2-4
socket screws.
(3) Connect the touch panel to the socket (plug connection).
Then press the touch panel onto the base until a "click"
is heard.

6 COMMISSIONING

The thermostat has a menu for basic settings. See "Settings
menu" in Chapter 8.

A switching device with a contact opening width
of at least 3 mm is required as a disconnecting
device. e.g. switch, fuse, earth leakage circuit
breaker. The isolating circuit must be all-pole.
Apply protective coating. (Requirements EN
60335-1; 7.12.2)
