33. Do not operate the grinder for longer than 2 minutes as this
might cause overheating. Allow the grinder to cool down for
20 minutes after extended use before using it again.
34. Do not place any objects on the appliance.
35. Unwind the power cord fully before plugging the plug into
the socket.
36. Pull the plug after every use. Only then, the appliance is fully
switched off.
37. Oils or lubricants must not be used with this appliance.
38. Always pull the plug before taking the lid off the bean con-
tainer or removing the entire bean container from the appli-
ance.

Your Solis Caffissima is equipped with conical burrs made from
hardened stainless steel and can easily grind whole coffee beans
for all kinds of coffee resp. coffee preparations, ranging from the
finest grind size setting for espresso to the coarsest grind size set-
ting for coffee from a French Press/coffee press.
The amount of coffee powder is controlled by an electronic timer
for all kinds of coffee. The amount can be individually set for each
way of preparation by turning the GRIND TIME dial and thus deter-
mines how long the grinder is in operation. You can grind directly
into the portafilter resp. filter insert resp. into a storage container
or a filter cone.
For each brewing method, there is a wide selection of grind size
settings, regardless of whether you make your espresso in an
espresso machine or an espresso cooker resp. your coffee in a
French Press or a classic filter coffee machine. The grind size is set
differently for each brewing method, as every brewing method
requires an individual grind size for optimal coffee extraction.
With your Solis Caffissima, you are in the comfortable situation of
being able to select from a multitude of grind sizes even within a
brewing method, allowing you to realise your personal preferences.
You can choose from 60 different grind sizes by spinning the bean
container.
