7 Important safety instructions
• This device may only be used in accordance with its intended
purpose and for private use.
• It is not for commercial use.
• This device is only designed for indoor use. Keep it away from heat
sources (e.g. electric stove), high temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Do not place the kettle near waters sources like basins.
• Do not touch the kettle with wet hands.
• To keep the unit from dropping over, make sure that the support
surface is even.
• Pull out the main plug from the socket when the machine is not in
use or during cleaning.
• Please only operate the device using the electrical current indicat-
ed on the bottom base plate.
• This device is not intended to be used by persons (including chil-
dren) with limited physical, sensory or mental aptitude or lack of
experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a per-
son responsible for their safety or have received instructions as to
how the device is used properly.
• Children must be supervised in order to make sure that they do not
play with this device.
• Keep packaging items (plastic bags, carton, styrofoam, etc.) out of
reach of children, as they represent a potential source of danger.
• Only fill the water tank with fresh cold water and do not cook re-
maining water a second time.
• Do not move the machine while it is operating.
• Never open the cover during brewing process, this could lead to
scaldings.
• Keep away from emitting water vapour during brewing process.
Otherwise it can cause burns.
• After brewing the heating element stays hot for a while. Make sure
that nobody touches the inside of the kettle to avoid burns!
• The unit may only be operated by using the provided base plate.
• Allow sufficient space between this kettle and other devices and
walls to ensure proper ventilation. Do not cover the device.
• Do not cook any other liquids than water.
