• Now turn the car seat to the rearward-facing position (24).
NOTE! The seat may only be used in the forward-facing position from a child
height of 76 cm or from 16 months.
• The car seat must engage with a "Click" and the 360° rotation button (19)
must jump to green.
WARNING! Under a child height of 76 cm and under a child age of 15
months, the rearward-facing use in Configuration 1 is mandatory. The child
seat must not be rotated forward beforehand!

ACTIVATING THE SIDE PROTECTOR
The RECARO Salia 125 features the „Advanced Side-Impact Protection"
system (ASP). The ASP increases the protection of the child in the event of a
side impact by directing the forces around the child's body, thus reducing the
impact on the head.
• Pull out the side impact protection (25) on the door side.
• Make sure that the side impact protection engages.
• Check that it is ready for operation by pushing on the side impact protection
from the side. The ASP must withstand this without retracting.
NOTE! The side impact protection must not be used as a carrying handle or
boarding aid.
NOTE! If the side impact protection is in contact with the door, fold it back in.
Use with the side impact protection properly retracted is still permissible.
NOTE! The car seat offers sufficient side impact protection even without the
side impact protection folded out and can therefore also be used without the
same. However, we recommend using the side impact protection.
WARNING! When installing the car seat in the middle seat position, do not
fold out the side impact protection.

• Riportare quindi il seggiolino in posizione contraria al senso di marcia (24).
NOTA! Il seggiolino può essere usato nel senso di marcia solo per bambini
con un'altezza a partire da 76 cm o un'età a partire da 16 mesi.
• Il seggiolino deve scattare in posizione con un "click" e il tasto di rotazione
a 360° (19) deve diventare verde.
AVVERTENZA! Per bambini con un'altezza inferiore a 76 cm e un'età
inferiore a 15 mesi, è obbligatorio l'uso nel senso contrario a quello di
marcia (configurazione 1). Il seggiolino non deve essere ruotato in avanti
prima del dovuto!

ATTIVAZIONE DELLA PROTEZIONE LATERALE
RECARO Salia 125 possiede un " Advanced Side-Impact Protection" (ASP). Il siste-
ma ASP aumenta la protezione del bambino in caso di urto laterale indirizzando le
forze attorno al corpo del bambino e riducendo così l'impatto sulla testa.
• Estrarre la protezione da urto laterale (25) dal lato della portiera.
• Assicurarsi dell'avvenuta attivazione della protezione da urto laterale.
• Controllare che sia pronta all'uso spingendo lateralmente sulla protezione
da urto laterale. Il sistema ASP deve sopportare questa azione senza ritrarsi.
NOTA! La protezione da urto laterale non deve essere usata come maniglia
per trasporto o aiuto per salire a bordo.
NOTA! Se la protezione da urto laterale si trova appoggiata sulla portiera,
richiuderla. È comunque ammissibile l'uso con la protezione da urto laterale
adeguatamente arretrata.
NOTA! Il seggiolino offre una sufficiente protezione da urto laterale anche
quando il sistema ASPnon è aperto e può dunque essere usato senza di esso.
Tuttavia, consigliamo di usare la protezione da urto laterale.
AVVERTENZA! Quando il seggiolino è installato sul sedile di mezzo, non
estrarre la protezione da urto laterale.
