• Video monitoring via a wireless LAN
You can create a stream (H.264) from the video/
audio of a camcorder, and monitor the video/
audio by using the "Content Browser Mobile"
application that is installed on a smartphone or
tablet via the wireless LAN.
"Content Browser Mobile" application
You can operate the camcorder remotely while
monitoring the audio/video of the camcorder, and
perform the settings of the camcorder by using the
"Content Browser Mobile" application.

application, contact your Sony dealer or a Sony
service representative.

Open the cover of the USB wireless
LAN module retracting part (page 2).

Insert the IFU-WLM3 to the USB
connector.

Notes
• When you attach/remove the IFU-WLM3, set both
"Setting" in "Proxy Recording Mode" of the
Recording menu and "Setting" in "Network" of the
System menu to "Off," or turn the camcorder off.
The camcorder works as an access point, and
connects to a device via a wireless LAN.

using the NFC function.

Start "Settings" on the device, select
"Other Settings," then mark the "NFC"
checkbox.
Turn the camcorder on.
Activate the NFC function.
Set the camcorder to the NFC connection
mode by pressing and holding the ASSIGN
3/NFC button (for 3 seconds), or activate
"NFC" in "Network" of the System menu.
The NFC function is available while
