3.2.1. Lux value (LUX)
You can set the lux value from ∞ (lux value is not taken into account) to 5 lux.
Each time the lux value is changed, the LED will flash several times:
LUX
No. of flashes
3.2.2. Switch-off delay (TIME)
You can set the switch-off delay from 1 to 30 min.
Each time the switch-off delay is changed, the LED will flash several times:
TIME
No. of flashes
3.2.3. Sensitivity (METER)
The potentiometer METER can be used to set the sensitivity of the detector. If you turn the potentiometer to '-', the detector
becomes less sensitive (and decreases the range); if you turn it to '+', the detector becomes more sensitive (and increases
the range).
3.2.4. Detection range (RANGE)
To change the detection range, move the adjustable sensor portion up or down (see figure 4). For the white detector the
detection range varies from 14 to 8 or 6 m, and for the anthracite detector from 11 m to 6 m or 4.5 m.
If a portion of the detection area is to be excluded from monitoring, cover the sensor lens using the cover mask supplied. You
can cut the cover cap to size according to the desired range. Figure 5 shows the range corresponding to a cap customized for
a range set to 14 m. Follow the instructions in figure 6 to slide the cap into the slot.
3.3. Walking test
This function operates independently from the set lux value. This test can be used to check the operation and the detection
range of the detector.
Set the TIME potentiometer to 'test'. The LED flashes once. Set the RANGE to '14 m' for the white detector or to '11 m' for the
anthracite version. Each time the detector registers movement in the detection area, the lights switch on for 5 seconds. Each
time movement is registered, the LED flashes once. After 5 minutes, the detector automatically switches to the automatic mode.
The LED indicates this by flashing 4 times.
1. Switch the power on.
2. Begin outside of the detection area of the detector. Pass through the detection area and approach the detector until the
lighting switches on.
3. Set the RANGE potentiometer in the desired position (so that the desired detection area is selected). You can also achieve
this setting by turning the 'METER' potentiometer to '-' or -+'.
4. A lower sensitivity (m) can decrease undesired activation.
5. Set the LUX and TIME potentiometers in the desired setting.
