• (AXIS Q6034) Due to local regulations or the environmental and electrical conditions
in which the product is to be used, a shielded network cable (STP) may be appropriate
or required. Any network cables that are routed outdoors or in demanding electrical
environments shall be shielded (STP) and intended for their specific use. Make sure that
the midspan is properly grounded. For information about regulatory requirements, see
Regulatory Information, on page 2.

• Be careful not to scratch, damage or leave fingerprints on the dome cover because this
could decrease image quality. If possible, keep the protective plastic on the dome cover
until the installation is complete.
