Abgleich des FAV 30 (Anordnung siehe
Abb.3)
Damit eine Objektbewegung von Position 0 % (0)
bis 100 % (1) auch eine Änderung derAusgangs-
grössen Ua, Ia von 0 % bis 100 % bewirkt, muss
über die 3 Potentiometer ein Abgleich erfolgen:
a. Arbeitsbereich
- 100 % Potentiometer (1) und Sendeleistung (S)
nach links und 0 % Potentiometer (0) nach rechts
drehen. Max. 18 Umdrehungen, Potentiometer
hat keinen Anschlag.
- Sind die Ausgangsgrößen U und I jetzt größer
10 V bzw. 20 mA leuchtet die Duo-LED rot. Der
Sensor empfängt zuviel Energie bzw. der Abstand
zwischen Sender- und Empfängeroptik ist zu
klein.
- Leuchtet die Duo-LED grün, die Sendeleistung
durch Rechtsdrehen am Potentiometer (S)
erhöhen bis die Ausgangsgrößen 10 V bzw. 20
mA erreichen.
- Werden diese Pegel nicht erreicht, empfängt der
Sensor zu wenig Energie bzw. der Abstand zwi-
schen Sender- und Empfängeroptik ist zu groß.
b. 0% Position
- Objekt auf maximale Position in die Lichtschranke
fahren.
- 0 % Potentiometer (0) nach links drehen bis die
Ausgangsgrößen 0 V bzw. 0 mA sind.
c. 100 % Position
- Objekt auf minimale Position in die Lichtschranke
fahren.
- 100 % Potentiometer (1) nach rechts drehen bis
die Ausgangssgrößen 10 V bzw. 20 mA erreichen.
d. Eventuell Punkt b und c wiederholen.
Mit etwas Erfahrung kann die Einstellung nur
mit Hilfe der eingebauten Multifunktionsan-
zeige (Duo-LED) erfolgen. Befindet sich die
Ausgangsspannung im Bereich von ca. 0 V
bis ca. 10,3 V, bzw. 20 mA oder kein Strom
mehr fließt, leuchtet sie grün. Ein Unter- bzw.
Überschreiten des Bereichs zeigt sie mit rot an.

In order that an object movement from po-
sition 0 % (0) to 100 % (1) also causes a
change of the output variables Ua, la from
0 % to 100 %, an adjustment must be made
by means of the 3 potentiometers:
a. Operating range
- Turn 100 % potentiometer (1) and transmitter po-
wer (S) to the left and 0 % potentiometer (0) to the
right. Max. 18 turns, potentiometer has no stop.
- If the output variables U and I do now exceed 10 V
or 20 mA, the duo-LED lights up red. The sensor
receives too much energy or the distance between
emittter and receiver optic is too small.
- If the duo-Led lights up green, increase the
transmitter power by turning the potentiometer (S)
to the right until the output variables reach 10 V
or 20 mA.
- If these levels are not achieved, the sensor does
not receive enough energy or the distance bet-
ween emitter and receiver optic is too large.
b. 0% position
- Move object to maximum position in the light
barrier.
- Turn 0 % potentiometer (0) to the left until the
output variables reach 0 V or 0 mA.
c. 100 % position
- Move object to minimum position in the light
barrier.
- Turn 100 % potentiometer (1) to the left until the
output variables reach 10 V or 20 mA.
d. If necessary, repeat pos. b and c .
With a bit experience, the sensor may be adjusted
by means of the integrated multi-functional
display only (duo-LED). If the output voltage is
within the range of approx. 0 V up to approx.
10,3 V, or 20 mA, or if no more current flows,
it lights up green. If the lower or upper values
of this range are exceeded, it lights up red.
Der Einsatz dieser Geräte in Anwendungen,
wo die Sicherheit von Personen von der
Gerätefunktion abhängt, ist nicht zulässig.

Equilibrage du FAV 30 (Classement, voir
schéma 3)
Pour que le mouvement d'un objet (position 0 %
à 100 % - 1) produise également un changement
de le valeur de la sortie analogique Ua, la de 0 %
à 100 %, il faut équilibrer les trois potentiomètres:
a. Champ de travail
- Régler le potentiomètre 100 % (1) et celui de
puissance (S) au mini, le potentiomètre 0 % (0)
au maxi.
- Enlever l'objet du champ de lumière.
- Si les grandeurs de sortie U, I sont supérieures
10 V, ou 20 mA (LED rouge), c'est que le capteur
reçoit trop de lumière ou que la distance entre
l'émetteur et le récepteur est trop faible.
- Si ce n'est pas le cas, augmenter la puissance
avec le potentiomètre (S) jusqu'à ce que les gran-
deurs de sortie atteignent 10 V ou 20 mA.
- Si ces niveaux ne sont pas atteints, le capteur n'a
pas assez de lumière ou bien la distance entre
l'émetteur et le récepteur est trop importante.
b. 0% Position
- Placer l'objet jusqu'à sa position maximale dans la
barrière optique.
- Diminuer la consigne 0 % avec le potentiomètre
(0) jusqu'à ce que les grandeurs de sortie soient
à 0.
c. 100 % Position
- Placer l'objet jusqu'à sa position minimum dans la
barrière optique.
- Augmenter la consigne 100 % avec le potenti-
omètre (1) jusqu'à ce que les grandeurs de sortie
atteignent 10 V ou 20 mA.
d. Répéter éventuellement les points b et c .
Avec un peu d'expérience, il est possible de
régler le capteur avec l'unique aide des LED
multifonctions intégrées au capteur. La LED
est verte si la tension d'alimentation se situe
entre 0 et 10,3 V. Le dépassement par le bas
ou le haut est indiqué par la LED rouge.

safety related applications.
Ces appareils de détection optique ne peu-
vent pas être utilisés pour des applications
de sécurité des personnes.
