Step-by-step instructions – using S5 Endo Motor
1. Prepare the pulp chamber to enable good access to the canals to be prepared.
2. Apply rubber dam and disinfect the area. Irrigate using sodium hypochlorite solution throughout the cleaning procedure.
Never work in a dry root canal.
3. Locate all canals using a hand file.
4. Determine the working length. This should ideally be done using an apex locator. Always use an X-ray for verification.
5. Use a hand file ISO size 15 to create a glide path until the determined working length is reached.
6. After established working length, prepare the canal apically to file no. 3 using S5 Rotary Files.
7. If larger apical diameters are required, use Big Apical Files ISO 35-50 as required. In curved root canals use Big Apical Files
size ISO 35 )green( or size ISO 40 )black(. In straight root canals use Big Apical Files size ISO 45 )white( or size ISO 50 )yellow(.
