Adjustable Telescopic Lance
Safety Regulations:
1.1. Please read the instruction manual carefully before operating this equipment for the first time.
1.2. Please observe the safety and warning regulations.
1.3. Failure to observe these regulations will exempt the manufacturer of all liability.
1.4. Keep the operating instructions in the carry case with the lance.
1.5. Failure to comply with the safety instructions and warnings can lead to serious injury or death
of persons.
Application:
2.1. The equipment can be used with industry recognised insecticidal powder. Do not use oils or
liquids.
Warning:
3.1. Caution: CO2 cartridge must be completely empty before removal from the trigger.
An activated cartridge removed from the trigger is dangerous.
Note: Please follow all instructions and safety guidelines that are provided by the supplier of
your CO2 cartridges. The following notes are general guidelines relevant to the use of mini CO2
cartridges.
COMPRESSED GAS WARNING! CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. DO NOT PUNCTURE.
DO NOT HEAT ABOVE 49ºC (120ºF). DO NOT LEAVE IN AN ENCLOSED VEHICLE;
OVERHEATING MAY CAUSE CARTRIDGE RUPTURE. DO NOT INCINERATE. KEEP OUT OF
REACH OF CHILDREN.
Do not inhale. Do not discharged towards face, body or people. CO2 gas becomes extremely cold
when dispensed and should not be exposed to bare skin as frostbite may occur.
3.2. During transport ensure equipment is stored in the protective carry case provided.
3.3. Do not operate the appliance when other people are in the workspace.
3.4. Store equipment and chemicals in a safe place, with end-caps and plugs in place, away from
children and animals.
3.5. When the lance is passed onto third parties, it must be accompanied by the operating
instructions.
3.6. Please observe during operation, that the application of insecticidal powder is accordance
with any statutory protection acts.
Safety Guidelines:
4.1. After installing a new CO2 cartridge ensure that the lower casing is securely refitted to the
trigger. The lower casing must be kept fitted when in use and until the cartridge is fully empty.
Take care when removing empty cartridges as they can be very cold.
4.2. Make sure that the product you wish to apply is suitable for this equipment. The data safety
and handling instructions provided by the chemical manufacturer must be noted and observed.
The use of chemicals is entirely at the user's own risk. Should you have any doubts in this respect
please contact the distributor where you purchased your insecticidal powder.
4.3. The lance must not be used with liquids or caustic substances (e.g. disinfectants or
impregnating liquids which attack the skin or materials), corrosive substances (acids) or highly
flammable or combustible substances.
4.4. Before each use, check to ensure that the lance has been correctly assembled, and that it is
in a functional and undamaged condition. Damaged parts must never be used.
