• Press the save key again to confirm that you wish to save.
You can save a preset over itself only if it is in a location from 65 to 128.

transposer menu

The sd4 instrument has three different transposer modes, which can be selected based on
the musician's needs. In global transpose mode, the transposition function is global and
affects the whole machine. In midifile only mode, the transposition function just affects the
MIDI port where the Midifiles are played. In Keyboard only mode, the transposition function
just affects the 3 voices right, left and bass.

ChangIng the transposer value:

• Press the transposer key. The relative LED starts blinking and the display will show the
value currently set.
• Edit the value set using the value +/- keys (range -24 +24).
• Press the transposer key again to exit the menu and go back to play mode.
If the value of the transposer is not 0, the relative LED remains lit steady to inform the musi-
cian that a transposition function is enabled.

• Hold the transposer key down for a few seconds, until the initials of the mode currently
set appear.
• Change the settings using the value +/- keys
The modes foreseen are listed below.
• global transpose: the transposition function is global. The display shows "glo"
• midifile only: the transposition function just affects Midifiles. The display shows "mId"
• Keyboard only: the transposition function just affects the 3 voices Right, Left and Bass.

To activate the Intelligent transposer function, consult the Menu Function section.

ChangIng the splIt poInt

The split point defines the operating range of the 3 voices right, left and bass.
Proceed as follows to edit the split point:
• Press the "lead off" and "save" keys simultaneously.
• Press the note that identifies the split point on the MIDI master keyboard connected to
the instrument or set the value required using the "value +/-" keys.
• The new split point becomes functional once you release the key.

When playing a Midifile you can change the Midi tracks of the song being played in real time.
In particular, you can change the following parameters for each Midi channel:
• volume
• program change
• solo
If the "solo" parameter is enabled on a track, you can only hear just this last track or all those
on which the "solo" parameter is enabled
